US, China, North Korea Conclude Talks in Beijing

Negotiators from the United States, China and North Korea have concluded two days of discussions in Beijing about restarting the six-party talks on Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program. None of the governments involved released details of the meetings.
China's foreign ministry said the officials held a frank exchange of views and agreed to continue their talks. No resumption date was set. U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei and North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan met to try to lay a foundation for restarting the six-party talks, which have been stalled for more than a year.
