在德黑兰说已经成功把金属铀提炼到可以用来进行核能发电的水平一天后，俄罗
斯和欧盟加入美国的行列，共同谴责伊朗的核计划。
俄罗斯和德国把伊朗的发展称之为“向错误方向发展的一步”。法国则敦促伊朗
停止所说的“危险的活动”。以色列资深议员佩雷斯把伊朗的声明说成是令人担
心和令人感到沮丧的。但是他说，外交途经是解决伊朗和西方国家之间有关伊朗
核问题僵局的最佳途径。
Russia, European Union Denounce Iran's Nuclear Announcement
Russia and the European Union have joined the United States in condemning
Iran's nuclear program, one day after Tehran said it had succeeded in
enriching uranium to a level used in nuclear power plants.
Russia and Germany are calling the Iranian development a step in the
wrong direction, and France has urged Iran to stop what it called
dangerous activities. Israeli elder statesman Shimon Peres called Iran's
claim worrying and frustrating, but said diplomacy is the best way to
resolve Iran's nuclear standoff with the West.

伊拉克国民议会代理议长、逊尼派阿拉伯人阿德南.帕沙希表示，他下星期一将召
集议会会议，推动组成全国团结政府的进程，希望届时什叶派领导人能够解决他
们在总理人选问题上的僵局。库尔德人和逊尼派政界人士反对什叶派选择现任总
理贾法尼出任下一任总理。
星期三在巴格达发生的暴力事件中，一枚路边炸弹炸死两名美军士兵。另一名美
军士兵在巴格达东边另一起炸弹爆炸事件中丧生。
Iraqi Parliament to Meet Monday -- Acting Speaker
Iraq's acting parliament speaker says he will convene the legislature
Monday in an effort to push forward the formation of a national unity
government. Adnan Pachachi, who is a Sunni Arab, says he hopes Shi'ite
leaders will have resolved the deadlock over their candidate for prime
minister by then. Kurdish and Sunni politicians have rejected the Shi'ite
candidate for the post -- current Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari.
In violence today (Wednesday), a roadside bomb killed two American
soldiers in Baghdad. Another bomb killed a third U.S. soldier east
of the city.
