Heavy Fog Shrouds Beijing Delaying Flights, Closing Roads
Heavy fog is delaying flights to and from the airport of China's capital and disrupting road traffic during the country's weeklong celebrations of the Lunar New Year. On Wednesday morning, visibility at Beijing's airport (Beijing Capital International Airport) fell to below 50 meters, and Chinese media reported about 150 flights were delayed. Air-traffic controllers redirected Beijing's domestic and international flights to other cities.
The fog has threatened to close several highways. China's weather service expects winds from a cold front, forecast for Wednesday night, will sweep the fog away.

大雾还威胁到几条高速公路。中国的气象预报预计,星期三晚上寒冷气流带来的风,会把大雾驱散。
