中国政府建议加强税收、信贷和土地政策，以稳定中国过热的房地产市场。官方
中国日报星期四说，由总理温家宝主持的国务院会议保证要采取必要措施，抑制
主要城市房地产价格上涨。
国务院说，应该允许税务、信贷和土地政策在引导市场中发挥更大的作用。其它
一些可行的措施包括更加及时、准确地公布房地产市场的数据，同时也要把旧房
拆迁的速度与新建房屋的需求对应起来。
中国日报强调，中国70个大中城市的房地产价格今年第一季度比去年同期上涨了
5.5%。
China Vows to Take Measures to Cool Down Property Prices
China's government has proposed stronger tax, credit and land policies
to hold steady the country's overheating property market.The state-run
China Daily said Thursday that a State Council meeting chaired by Premier
Wen Jiabao vowed to take necessary measures to curb price rises in major
cities.
The council said that tax, credit and land supply policies should be
allowed to play a bigger role in guiding the market. Other possible
measures
include more timely and accurate disclosures of real estate statistics,
as well as matching the pace of demolishing old housing with the demand
for new homes.
The China Daily noted that property prices in 70 large and medium-sized
Chinese cities increased five-and-a-half percent in the first quarter of
this year, from the same period last year.

联合国秘书长安南对解决伊朗核项目争议缺乏进展表示失望。安南秘书长还强调
，伊朗需要和国际社会进行面对面的谈判。安南星期四在东京对大学生发表了上

建议。美国称伊朗拒绝建议是奇怪的立场，使人对艾哈迈迪内贾德在核僵局中的

Annan Wants Iran Nuclear Crisis Resolved
U.N. Secretary-General Annan has expressed frustration over the lack of
progress in resolving the dispute over Iran's nuclear program. Mr. Annan
also stressed Iran needs to engage in face-to-face talks with the
international community. He spoke to university students Thursday in Tokyo.
On Wednesday, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ridiculed a possible
European offer of incentives to end sensitive nuclear work. The United
States called the rejection an odd stance that raises questions about
Mr. Ahmadinejad's motives in the confrontation.
Mr. Annan said that despite the Iranian rejection, he does not believe
a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning Iran is imminent. Western
powers suspect Iran is enriching uranium to make nuclear weapons -- a
charge Tehran denies.
