瑞星在国外推出了完全免费的瑞星杀毒软件国际版本，并提供免费下载，其实这一版本是全功能的。安装国际版时选择繁体中文语言，安装完毕后先别重启系统（如果你已安装了繁体版，须在主动防御里面关闭自我保护），事先在网上找个简体中文语言包，并将简体中文语言包内的文件复制到安装目录中的Language文件夹内，重启系统。然后设置—语言选择里面选择“简体中文”即可，接下来就可以免费使用和升级了。
