US Sends Firefighters To Help Tackle Australia's Bushfires

About 100 U.S. firefighters have arrived in Melbourne, as part of an international response to Australia's request for help against raging bushfires. The U.S. crews will stay initially for one month, helping to contain outbreaks in one of the world's most fire-prone regions.
Bushfires in the southern Australian state of Victoria have been burning for more than 50 days, destroying about one million hectares of forest and farmland.
